The face of the figure has a typical Ogoni mask opening and closing mouth showing match stick teeth. The right hand holds a wooden object covered with string and woven raffia and leather. The left hand holds a carved wood-like object painted red and green. The lower arm is wrapped with string with a small metal bell attached. The figure is seated on a square block and bse on a rectangular shape carved from the same wood. The base tops a long carrying staff in which a hole is drilled for manipulating the opening and closing of the mouth with the long staff .
