Leaf of silk plain weave with metal-thread embroidery (couched and chain stitch) and sequins, with scene of man kneeling before a woman in center. Undecorated on reverse. Sticks and guards of carved and incised ivory with applied silver gilt. Glass jewel and copper alloy rivet.
