Small walrus ivory pipe stem with incised hunting scenes on both sides. On one side a single hunter is depicted poised to throw a harpoon at a walrus while on the obverse side the scene is repeated but with the hunter stalking a whale. A diamond pattern surrounds the rim of the stem and is repeated around the neck of the stem.
