She began printmaking with Berkeley’s Paulson Press in 2001, and created six aquatint etchings that year. Other editions of her prints were created there in 2008 and 2009. The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art mounted a solo exhibition of her drawings in 2012. Kaufman’s work was included in the exhibition “Paulson Bott Press: Celebrating Twenty Years” at the de Young Museum in 2016. She works from her studio in Oakland.
