Painter and etcher; born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1893. Pupil of Carl N. Werntz, Spencer Mackey, Lee Randolph. Lived in San Francisco. Member of the California Society of Etchers Painter, etcher. Born in Oak Park, IL on May 8, 1893. Robbins studied at the PAFA. During the 1920s he maintained a studio-home in San Francisco and further studied at the CSFA under Macky and Randolph. Robbins was a resident of Los Angeles in 1929, Berkeley in 1936, and by 1940 had moved to Westborough, MA. He died in January 1974. Member: Calif. Mm. Painters; Calif. Society of Etchers; Calif. PM.
