Slate bladed ulu with ivory tipped wooden handle. The ivory tips have incised designs indicative of OBS lll to Punuk period style. The wooden handle shows evidence of some decoration in the form of grooves at the extreme ends where the ivory tips are attached. These grooves might have been used to hold gut twine for securing the ivory tips.
