After the lost altarpiece by Titian for the church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo, Venice.
In a woods, a man with a sword overpowers the prone saint Peter, who points at the sky from which two putti are descending with the palm of martyrdom while a companion nearby throws his arms in the air.
