Chorus girls dancing on the stage, with the orchestra below and heads of the audience in front of everything. The dancers are within a colorful oval swirl, and the front dancer's legs are shown in moving sequence, similar to the movement of the figure in Duchamps's "Nude Descending AStaircase." Glimpses of the other dancers' eyes and mouths make up a pattern, and within the orchestra section are pieces of instruments and scraps of music sheets. The conductor blends in with the orchestra, since he is composed of odd-shaped sections of color. The audience is indicated by a row of hats in different colors. (Virginia K. Anderson 04/03/95)
