Jacques Tiffeau (1927 – 1988) was born in France. He came to the United States in 1952, and worked as a pattern maker for Monte Sano & Pruzan. He formed Tiffeau-Busch in 1958 with Beverly Pruzan Busch, offering affordable clothes for the youth market. The label closed in 1971.
