Gift of Dr. Leon Kolb

This ungraceful portrait of Anne makes her appear as if she is bald and wearing a heavy wig which is slipping off of the back of her head. Anne's upper torso is squarely placed in the center of a simple, unadorned, round frame. Anne has beautiful long, arching, dark eyebrows over rather bored eyes. Her nose is a bit too large for her small face and her cupid's bow lips and weak chin are overwhelmed by the thick neck below. Anne is richly crowned and dressed. With a single strand of choker pearls at her neck, she is draped in ermine, brocade and a heavy strand of metal medallions from shoulder to shoulder. Of course, her head is covered with curls and long ringlets which drape both shoulders. The name "ANNE" is printed below and outside of the portrait image.
