Also known as Tadaaki Maejima,Born in Ibaraki. Graduated in 1945 from Ibaraki Normal School. Member Japan Print Society and Modern Art Club. Maki moved to Tokyo after the Second World War and becme the youngest student of Onchi Koshiro. He developed his characteristic style in the 1960's when he began to combine techniques such as woodblock, stencil, lamination, and cement relief, often using a press instead of traditional hand rubbi ng.
