Wears armor, lace collar and cuffs, fabric draped over one shoulder and pinned at the other. He holds a staff firmly in his right hand. Portrait framed by oval ring of laurel and crosses. Surrounding classical motifs: helmets, swags, tassels, staffs, shield, plumes, quiver of arrows. Bottom of portrait: crowned crest with lions rampant, bars, crosses, arrowheads, mermaid.
