Gift of Mrs. Margo Silverman

Jean Neder: Wonderful example of finely made, intricately detailed lace. Reseau of very fine linen in double twist loops, joins the bobbin made design. Large design (repeat of 7 inches) of crossed ogival ribbon bands centered with a flower spray. One band is leaves and flowers, another is a texture band. the upper edge, of the finest reseau, has flowers sprigs and small point d'esprit, and the bobbin made areas are detailed with many tiny dots as well as plaited cordonnet. Excellent condition.
