Lace, flounce & border
Jean Neder: Allover pattern of slender scrolls and tiny flowers, connected with brides picotees. All are finely worked in buttnhole stitch; the lower edge ends in a scallop with small round motifs at each point. This lace is called 'rose point' because of the many small flowers in raised work, but it is still in the Poin de Venise category. Very good condition, spot in the heading.
