(a) Robe à l'Anglaise of mordant resist dyed cotton muslin in polychrome allover floral pattern: round neckline; 3/4 length sleeves; curved sleeve hem; hook and eye front-closing bodice; skirt pleated into waist seam; undyed linen lining; polonaise hooks and eyes sewn into skirt lining; (b-e) accessories of white cotton mull with white-work embroidery and drawn threadwork: (b) fichu; (c) apron; (d,e) engageantes; single ruffle.
