Tea-dipped Jean Neder: repeated scrolls on lower edge, with tiny sprays and dots(pois) on remaining background area. Cordonnet worked with fine buttonhole stitch, some areas have picots. Hexagonal mesh, the true Alencon reseau, with a finer mesh in the lower edareas of the design. Engrelure of bobbin made edging, hand sewn in place. Lower edge follows scalloped design, with a closely worked buttonhole stitch cordonnet. Reseau is broken in areas, and very fragile. Earnshawl, pp. 51-53
