Leaf of vellum with opaque watercolor and gold paint showing a couple in a garden with other figures nearby, tending to the landscape. Small house with fisherman depicted on the reverse. Sticks and guards of carved, incised, painted, and gilded ivory with mother-of-pearl backing on sticks. On guard, Cupid is carved against a painted red background with carved and painted flowers and rocaille. Ivory sticks feature three cartouches of putti and animals, including dogs, ducks, and lambs, as well as musical trophies. Mother-of-pearl pivot and copper alloy rivet.
