Long robe of black and white commercially woven cotton appliquéd in a pattern of swirling forms with black linear embroidery. Hem, arm, and neck openings, and bands at shoulders are commercially printed fabric, with a dirigible bearing the word "Nippon" at each shoulder front. From the Taisho period.
