Belt fastener carved in low relief in the form of a human face. Incised lines on face above the eyes may indicate tattooing or eyebrows. Pete Vallejo referred to this piece as “Crooked Mouth” based on the expression on the face. The extended neck is pierced through with a triangular hole in it for suspension or attachment.
