Don Quixote and Sancho Panza are seated on a "horse" made of a tree trunk, with wooden legs and head. The two men are blindfolded, however, and Sancho holds Quixote firmly around the waist, while Q. firmly holds his wooden lance. One man pumps wind from behind with a bellows, a woman watches at the side, and several merrymakers in varied garb make fun of Q. and Sancho. (Virginia K. Anderson 02/14/94)
