A band sampler with four bands of silk embroidery: strawberries, roses with pansies, acorns with leaves, and carnations with strapwork twists. All four bands worked in a variety of colored silk, including pink, blue and green. A variety of stitches are used including detached buttonhole for three-dimensional effects. Small section of drawnwork lower right corner. Signed: C.N. 1657.
