Spot sampler. Silk on cotton ground, symmetrically arranged motifs including a central building, birds, rabbits, trees and dogs. Wreath under a crown at the top with initials SIP, date in center 1787, and initials and presumed age of maker in border lower center OUD("old" in Dutch) 14.
