Copy after Hogarth; barefoot man in nightshirt and cap escaping out the window into the night, overturned chair, masks, shoes and whatnot on the floor, a man stabbed in the chest and sagging against a table, barefoot young woman in nightclothes kneeling and weeping before him. one sword on the floor and another stuck upright in the floor, valanced bed in disarray, men bursting into the room with a lantern and heavy sticks, a painting of a voluptuous woman and one of St. Luke with the ox, and a mural of the decision of Solomon (the two women who each claimed a surviving baby was hers).
