On the street, before a building with many-paned windows, a young woman in country dress carries a basket of primroses for sale. She is accompanied by a younger girl and boy, each carrying primroses also. The caption reads, " Two bunches a penny, primroses two bunches a penny." A friendly dog sniffs at the young woman's skirt, and an older woman sits on the building's steps. (Virginia K. Anderson 02/21/95)
