Notes from the donor (see file) and pages from Bruntjen catalogue (in file) refer to a series of watercolors executed for a peepshow (Guckkasten) commissioned by Crown Prince Ferdinand (later Kaiser Ferdinand I), on which Jakob Alt and his son Rudolf (1912-1905) collaborated. However, all works were signed by the father as the head of the project.
