abstract shapes (swirls and profiles) on beige; from 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition. These panels were transferred as unaccessioned objects from the Legion to the DeYoung in 1978. At that time they were described as "linen curtains with stencilled designs used in the French pavillion of the Golden Gate International Exposition, Treasure Island, 1939.
