Bequest of Thomas G. Fowler

A large, lidded, baleen basket constructed of black and white baleen. The lid exhibits a double seal ivory finial typical of the style produced by the Hank family of Point Hope. This basket is much larger than the baskets typically produced by Eunice Hank. It is decorated with a single band of white baleen on the sides of the basket and a single band of white baleen on the lid.
