contemporary scupture piece entitled Hovor II (Hovor in the Ewe language breaks down: Ho= value, Vor=cloth, hence it means cloth of value. ) It is a reference to Kente cloth which is the only genre out of several strip-woven cloths among the Ewe. used on cremonial occasions. This work was commissioned for the opening of the New De Young.
