Top only: polychrome pictorial motifs appliqued onto a white cotton ground. Twenty motifs, predominantly flower baskets and some featuring albums. No repeats, elaborate floral border. Maker's name inscribed on book cover, second square from upper left corner in image. Maker has added definition and shading in ink lines to flowers, birds, etc.
