At left, a woman with flower basket talks to a man, a banquet table is seen in the distance, seated and dancing couples, musicians, and listeners. At right, a peasant family watches the scene. On reverse, a man serenades two women before an overgrown ruin while a dog drinks at the water's edge. Sticks and guards of carved and incised mother-of-pearl with applied gilt silver foil. Mother-of-pearl and silvered copper alloy rivet.
