large yellow and gray ice bag

The sculpture was made between Oct. 1969 and Dec. 1971. The sculpture consists of bag made of an inflatable yellow nylon material, sitting atop of a grey fiberglass resin /silver lacquer round base. The mechanism is inserted into the base, and is operated via electrical current. An on-off switch has been wired into the side of the base.
Signature metal plate is found inside of bag. the bag rises tyo 40", and has a diameter of 48" when inflated. The sculpture weights 115 lbs. Upper metal disc is detachable.
