An embroidered musical score . The cover is decorated with a finely worked floral spray, the title of the score and description ("Album de Mai, Scenes romantiques pour Piano"), the composer's name (Paderewski), the composer's dedication of the music ("A Madame Anette Essipoff -Leschetitzky"), and the comment "Brode par C.C. et H.M. Hezarifend, Constantinople." On the back cover is an embroidered square noting that the work was made for the Chicago Exposition of 1893. The cover holds two sheets of sheer lawn embroidered with the musical score itself. Bound as a book. DMott -5/2003
