Two part afternoon dress of white cotton batiste: (a) bodice; high, boned collar and vestee of lace; overbodice of batiste embroidered with zigzag and grapes gathered at front waist to create pouched front; upper puffed sleeve of tucked batiste; elbow lenght lower sleeve of embroidered batiste flounce over tulle flounce trimmed with Valenciennes lace; (b) skirt narrow over hips fitted with vertical tucks that release at knee; two flounces of embridered batiste on bottom; slight train; full ivory satin petticoat with pleats and crepe Georgette ruffle on hem.
