Born: Rosewell NM on October 31, 1903; Education: Entered the CSFA in San Francisco in 1923. Received a scholarship whilst at CSFA to attend the ASL in New York. Career: Best known for his Post-Cubist sculpture in wood. Began as a painter and ended as such when ill health in later years forced him to abandon sculpture. Ref: Hughes, Edan Milton.
