Rev. 1:12. St. John kneels praying, back half-turned, before Christ seated on a Rainbow? They are in the clouds, surrounded by seven lit candlesticks, each with a different design. Christ has tripartite halo, and shoots flames from his eyes; a double-edged sword emerges from his mouth. He holds up a book in his left hand, and his right hand extended, holding seven stars floating around it. Candlesticks, clockwise from right: 1. looks like muscle fibers; 2. capital with leaves, spiral shaft, base ornamented with birds; 3. base with grape leaves; 4. base has heads of either sheep or mice among leaves; the rest have abstract fruit and vegetable forms.
